Highlights

Two More Titles

As Don Hutson dominated the league statistically, the Packers won championships Nos. 5 and 6 and 1939 and 1944, both requiring title-game wins over the New York Giants.

The Packers also became the first NFL team to fly to a road game, in 1940, and the following year, Green Bay and Chicago met in a Western Division playoff game, the first and only postseason meeting between the rivals until another 69 years go by.
