Following the team’s first stock sale, which raised $5,000 with shares sold at $5 apiece, the first stockholders meeting of the community-owned Green Bay Football Corporation was held at the Brown County Courthouse. The stock sale included a box-seat ticket to all home games for anyone purchasing five shares, and the state of Wisconsin affixed its official seal to the articles of incorporation three days after the stock sale launched.

At the first stockholders meeting, 15 board members were elected, and they chose a five-man executive committee – President Andrew Turnbull, vice president John Kittell, secretary and treasurer Lee Joannes, plus Dr. W.W. Kelly and George De Lair as at-large members.
