Don Hutson catches three TD passes as the Packers beat the College All-Stars 45-28 in front of a crowd of 84,567 at Soldier Field, a victory Curly Lambeau would call the biggest of his career.

Green Bay’s victory gives the NFL a 3-2-2 overall advantage in the young annual series, a lead the pros would never relinquish as the series continued into the mid-1970s.

One of the more famous games in the series takes place 23 years later, as the College All-Stars upset Vince Lombardi’s two-time NFL championship team, 20-17, one year after the Packers had won the exhibition contest by a score of 42-20.
