The Chicago Bears play in Green Bay for the first time, and play the Packers for the first time as the Bears (they were previously named the Staleys for a game in 1921 in Chicago). The Bears won, 3-0.
The oldest rivalry in the NFL, Packers-Bears has now been contested 196 times, with the Packers holding a scant 96-94-6 advantage, moving into the lead this past season for the first time since the 1930s. The last of the six ties occurred in 1953.The teams have met at least twice per season, every season, since 1925, except in the strike-shortened campaign of 1982. The 196 total games include two postseason matchups, the 1941 Western Division playoff and the 2010 NFC Championship Game.
